The other day I was asked if alarm systems could really do everything they were claiming to do on the commercials such as turn the water off or shut your front door.
An alarm system can turn anything on or off, however, there are costs involved. For instance, to be able to control your faucet from you
alarm system app, a plumber would need to do some plumbing modifications to your faucet and an electrician would have to do some electrical work. Then we would tie it to the alarm system. The question you have to ask yourself is if you really need this?
Something you would more likely use is a keypad to lock and
unlock your doors. I can unlock and lock my door from my alarm app.
I also have a keypad for the lock on my door and I can give out individual codes. I do not have to worry about my children losing keys nor do I have to give a key to the nanny or anyone else.
The other day I had someone at my house who needed to get inside. I was in my office at work. Just before she was about to walk into my house, I opened my alarm app, disarmed my alarm and unlocked the door for her.
Another feature customers really like is receiving a text message when the alarm system is armed or disarmed.
We can add cameras to your security system. These cameras can be set up so that you receive a text message picture every time your alarm is
armed or disarmed. This can be useful if you want to know who is
coming over after school.
Lights can also be added to your security system.
All of these features can be controlled and viewed via an app, keypad and a website.
