On Sunday May 10th at 10:39am Washington Alarm’s Central Station Monitoring Center received a burglar alarm. It was from a commercial customer located in the University District of Seattle. The alarm originated from a motion detector in our customers front entry area. Our operator notified the customer and dispatched the Seattle Police to the location.
While the police were in route, our customer was able to login into his camera system and saw that there were two perpetrators that he was able to positively identify on cameras at the location. One of the perpetrators waited outside keeping look out while the second broke a window and climbed in through the broken window. The thieves were apprehended and the stolen merchandise was recovered.
