Washington Alarm – One of the select few CSAA Five Diamond Certified Central Stations

Published by on July 11, 2016
Washington Alarm’s central station is one of only three in Washington state (and one of less than 200 internationally) to be CSAA (Central Station Alarm Association) Five Diamond certified!

As it should go without saying, we feel great honor in CSAA’s recognition of our commitment to excellence, but what does it mean to be granted the CSAA Five Diamond certification? Well, in the association’s words, it means that we have “made it [our] practice to meet the highest levels of professionalism, training, and expertise in the industry” (CSAA blog post, 2016). In order to effectively do this, we must meet the requirements of the “five points of excellence” listed below.

1. Commitment to random inspections and quality criteria standards by a nationally recognized testing laboratory such as FM Approvals, Intertek/ETL and UL.
2. Commitment to the highest levels of customer service.
3. Commitment to ongoing job-related education and testing by having 100% of their central station operators certified using the CSAA online training series, the industry standard.
4. Commitment to raising the industry standards through CSAA membership and participation in its activities.
5. Commitment to reducing false dispatches.

It should be evident that each one of these points of excellence works to benefit the consumer in one way or another. Since our beginnings, we have worked to make the customer our priority and we believe that our status as one of the select few Five Diamond Central Stations reflects our ongoing success in doing so. When you are choosing an alarm company to keep you and your family safe, you should keep in mind that this prestigious recognition means that no central station staff will be better prepared to serve you.
