As you prepare to turn your clocks ahead one hour, you probably have questions about how the time change impacts the settings of your alarm system.
We’ve put together a little FAQ to address any questions you may have moving forward.
Will the time on my keypad automatically update? Yes, as long as your system is connected to a central station.
Do I have to reprogram my home automation and schedules? No. All of your smart home automation favorites and schedules – including lights, locks, and thermostats – will automatically update when your panel receives its time update from the central station.
Can I change the time on my panel manually? Yes. If for some reason your panel did not update to the correct time, the update can easily be done through the user menu.
