Virtual Keypad Makes Camping a Breath of Fresh Air
Going camping this weekend? With your Virtual Keypad app always handy, a little “R & R” is practically guaranteed! We wish you a wonderful weekend and hope you enjoy the great outdoors, knowing you can check in on things back home directly from the campsite.
Here are a few safety tips to keep in mind while you’re away:
● Ask a neighbor or friend to collect package deliveries.
● Put your interior/exterior lighting on a schedule. A simple lamp alludes to someone’s home.
● Adjust your thermostats. This will save you money and can be easily controlled in your Virtual Keypad app.
● Select the appropriate arming option. The Arm “Away” mode will engage all security points including doors, windows, glass break detectors and motions. If you have animals in your home, you’ll want to use the Arm “Home” feature. This will arm the perimeter of your home, leaving the motion detectors in an unarmed state, so your pets can roam freely.
