Ensuring the Safety and Security of Those that Matter Most.

Ensuring the Safety and Security of Those that Matter Most.

As the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, our mission remains to provide Service, Quality, and Integrity to ensure the safety and security during this uncertain time.

As your local neighbor, we are highly sensitive to the impact that COVID-19 has had in the Puget Sound Region. Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by this global pandemic.

We continue to educate ourselves with the most recent news, updates, and guidance provided by the Government and health authorities. With this guidance, we have increased our safety and precautions including evaluating our safety procedures daily.

We understand that you have entrusted us to protect your home and/or business under any situation, and we do not take our job lightly.

Protecting Your Home or Business

During this uncertain time, you can be certain that Washington Alarm is here to support you. Our in-house UL and Five Diamond Certified Central Station continues to operate seamlessly, and you will not see any interruption to your monitoring service.

We now offer contactless site visits to discuss your security or life safety needs from the comfort of your home or business.  To schedule a virtual consultation, please contact us at 206-328-3288.

If you have a future installation, inspection, or service appointment we are taking additional precautions to ensure the upmost safety and security. Our service team is fully equipped with protective equipment and are following all social distancing procedures.

All vehicles and tools are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis. When arriving onsite staff first use hand sanitizer and use their protective equipment including gloves, safety goggles, mask, and boot covers (for residences).

We want to make you feel as safe and secure as possible while onsite. When scheduling your appointment, please let us know if there are any COVID related precautions you’d like us to follow such as using a specific entrance, or calling when we arrive to signal no-contact entry to your building.

Protecting our Staff

We have also taken additional steps to ensure that all our in-house and field staff can also continue to operate seamlessly – whether working remotely or in the office.

We have encouraged all our staff to limit their time in the office by telecommuting as much as possible. This includes heavily investing in the tools and technology needed to support our remote workers such as scheduling virtual meetings.

For employees that are working in the office, we have spread out workstations out to a safe distance away from each other and have staggered schedules to reduce exposure.

When Visiting Our Office

To protect our employees and customers, we have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing our offices and work vehicles by ensuring all high-touch areas are cleaned and disinfected regularly.

Due to many of our staff working remotely, please call ahead so we can ensure that we are available for your visit. We are also following the current guidelines regarding face coverings for staff and visitors.

Supporting and Giving Back To Our Local Community

During this time of increased uncertainty, Washington Alarm remains as committed as ever to giving back to our local community.

In 2020, we have supported:

  • Face Shields for the Seattle Union Gospel Mission.
  • Ballard Food Bank
  • Food Lifeline
  • Annual Walk for Rice 2020 launched by ACRS.
  • Rotary Scholarship Fund in memory of Jim Osborn.
  • Seattle International District COVID relief fund.
  • Goodwill Fall Auction

We will continue to follow the local officials and CDC guidelines and are prepared to respond promptly as the situation changes.

If you have any questions at all, please reach out to our team at 206-328-3288.
